The objective

Uniquely Tailored Landing Page to Boost Engineer Recruitment & Brand Impact.

Laskie aimed to distinguish itself in the competitive talent acquisition market with a unique, unbranded landing page tailored specifically for engineering professionals. This innovative approach was designed to set it apart from conventional recruitment platforms. The primary objectives for this landing page were to elevate brand awareness and achieve an exceptionally high conversion rate, thereby effectively connecting top engineering talent with their ideal opportunities.

The Challenge

Offering something new in recruitment with a 12% conversion goal.

My task was to strike a delicate balance: to design an innovative and unique online presence tailored for the engineering sector while maintaining a sense of familiarity and ease of use. The challenge extended to crafting a modern, eye-catching landing page that not only resonated with engineers but also achieved a minimum conversion rate of 12%.

It was crucial to articulate clearly how our service would significantly enhance the job-finding process for talented professionals, guiding them towards more rewarding career opportunities.

The Solution

Testing our way to an optimized User experience, one with a familiar yet charming aesthetic.

In redefining the visual identity, I integrated illustrative elements while trying to preserve an essential human touch in the aesthetic. This approach prioritized featuring key differentiators prominently above the fold, ensuring that the  benefits to users were immediately evident. This process involved an iterative journey, with each version building upon the learnings of the previous one. Each rigorously tested and refined in collaboration with the team.

The winning variant not only aligned perfectly with our objectives but also resonated strongly with the target audience. A noteworthy insight emerged from our testing: a bottom call-to-action (CTA) banner significantly outperformed other formats like a sticky form or a right-rail CTA. This discovery underscored the importance of continuous experimentation and user feedback in achieving an effective and user-friendly design.

The Result

Landing Page Boosted Conversions by 15%, remained as UX lead consultant site wide.

The redesigned landing page significantly exceeded expectations, achieving an impressive 15% conversion rate within just three months post-launch. This remarkable performance played a pivotal role in the project's success, greatly benefiting the company and the team. After launch, I continued to provide essential support, focusing on maintenance and further enhancements. My contributions included a thorough audit of the Laskie website, where I implemented strategic UX optimizations to enhance the user experience and efficiency site wide.
